Basketry classes will be held at the facilities of ______, once each month on Saturday morning or Tuesday evening, each date to be announced above. The classes are free, but you will need materials. I suggest the following:
Imitation sinew is available at Hobby Lobby and Wisconsin Craft Market. I believe Hobby Lobby has the better price.

Chenille needles are available from me at $0.15 each (for stitching your basket). Another option is a variety pack of upholstery needles, available at fabric stores.
I suggest bringing a needle classified as "embroidery," for working around inserts. These are available at fabric stores.
My instruction booklet, "Coiled Art With Pine Needles and Raffia." I'll give a discount for those purchased at class. You are not required to own one.
I have a large assortment of gemstone coiling inserts ranging in price from $2.00 to $7.00. These aren't essential, but they're fun.
You'll need to bring a box (shoe boxes work well), pliers, scissors, apron or old shirt, an old terry towel, and some sheets of paper toweling.

If you are from out-of-town and enjoy mall shopping, you might even want to make this a mini vacation event. The church is located close to Hwy. 41, just minutes from the famous Fox River Mall. In nearby downtown Appleton, you'll find the spectacular new Performing Arts Center. Lodging accommodations are everywhere, including all the well known names, for easy web searching.
